A reader reports:
Sunday 12:15 am, corner of 55th and Everett:
A black car drove onto the sidewalk into a group of young people
standing on the southwest side of the corner; shots (3-4) were fired
thereafter, the car then drove down Everett, crashing into 2 parked
cars (which were pushed up onto the parkway by the force of the
impact) after a second set of 3-4 shots.

any updates on this incident?
Well, per the police information on everyblock, this was supposedly a robbery with a handgun.
As someone who lives on the first floor overlooking that corner, that's clearly not what happened.
I find it very, very strange.
